Elite denim of the new season

Let us continue our story about elite denim taking a closer look on collections of PRPS and True Religion brands.

PRPS is a premium custom jean brand established by Donwan Harrell, designer of Nike Company in New York. Mr. Harrell is a genuine connoisseur of denim and made his best to recreate true selvage denim. Today selvage denim presented by PRPS is cotton fabric manufactured from African cotton on American machines of 1960s like those used by Levi’s. Jeans are produced in Japan, famous for its traditions and special approach towards manufacturing deluxe denim. Characteristical features of PRPS jeans are overturned back pocket, purple label and colored buttons.

True Religions customized denim brand was established in 2002 in Los Angeles. The brands designers Jeffrey and Kym Lubell wanted to create a super fashionable and comfortable denim collection for Hollywood stars. The style of True Religion trademark is closely connected with musical tastes of its creators – Jeffrey loves classical rock and Kym adores hip-hop and R’n’B. One of the brands main recipes for success is scrupulousness to detail, as jeans should be of high quality and each model should be individual. Some jeans models, especially vintage ones, are made by hand, which speaks for high responsibility True Religion’s designers bear to their customers. Soft and almost silky denim is a trademark of True Religion. Among celebrities wearing custom made jeans made by this brand are David Beckham, Gwen Stefani, Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Courtney Cox, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Sympson and Usher.
