Custom jeans you should NOT wear
You have certainly come across numerous articles on how to wear your custom jeans
to personalize them and create your own unique style. Here are some tips on jeans you
should NEVER wear.
Do not put on too tight jeans with a low waistline which show your underwear. This looks vulgar.
Do not wear jeans that are too tight for you in the waist part creating a fat layer hanging above
the belt – a so-called ‘muffin effect’. Tailor-made jeans of a relaxed cut will make you look sexier,
don’t you think? Another no-go is jeans with whiskering – it visually congests every figure.
If you are not sure of your figure and feel awkward wearing skinny jeans, then combine them with a tunic
or a long pullover as if you are wearing jeggings. You can also wear skinny jeans or jeggings with a dress –
however, this is a perfect variant for tall slim women, if you don not belong to this type, better quit
experimenting, otherwise your dress will have too many rifles which doesn’t look good at all.
Jeans with cuts can go when it’s your favorite worn pair of denim. However, it’s not very rational to
spend much money for expensive designer jeans with cuts.

The same story with distressed trouser legs of customized jeans. If you desire to create this effect by
wearing your jeans – go ahead. But don’t buy them, don’t wear them with classical blouses and shoes with
high heels – it’s tasteless. Jeans with distressed trouser legs should never be worn in office as well.
Forget about garish flamboyantly embellished jeans with rhinestones. A calm stylish decoration is OK, but
be careful not to bring it to the extreme.
Turned trouser legs look good in case of bright jeans with a relaxed cut. All other jeans types are not
meant to be turned.
Do not bring low rise jeans to the extreme as well. Choose jeans with a rise just a little bit below the
waistline, especially when your figure leaves much to be desired. The golden rule for jeans choice is
quite simple – fold three fingers of your hand and put them broadwise to your belly below the belly-button.
An optimal rise of the jeans is coming towards the lowest third finger. Lower or higher jeans won’t do.
Don’t wear old-fashioned women’s jeans models with a high waist, rifles on the front and trouser legs
becoming tight at the bottom; otherwise you will look exactly like your mom or grandma.
The color of the jeans you wear should be dark. Apart from all other arguments it’s more versatile, for
denim of dark colors suits classical evening combinations. Avoid wearing too light-colored and acid wash
jeans. As a matter of fact, light blue jeans suit very few people. Besides, dark-colored denim is fashionable
this season.
Grey jeans look good too, especially skinny models, combined with long kimono-sweaters or waistcoats.
The most universal jeans cut is a so-called boot cut. This model will suit every figure without exceptions.
So, to sum it up, perfect jeans for everyone have a dark color, because dark colors create a visually
slimmer silhouette. They fit perfectly in the waistpart not creating a so-called ‘muffin effect’. The
length of perfect jeans ends exactly on the upper side of the foot. If you happen to find such jeans,
don’t hesitate to spend much money on buying them! Because a perfectly fitting pair of made to measure jeans
is a girls best friend, forget about diamonds!
