Today custom jeans are worn by everybody and everywhere. Not only jeans pants, but
also denim jackets, shirts, dresses, shorts, skirts and overalls. Jeans have finally
become casual and comfortable clothes, favorite pieces for many of us. Some of us wear their
jeans without taking them off. And that is why the risk to damage these clothes, burn them or
bedraggle with something is quite high. Quite often these stains make your favorite jeans unwearable.
And that is when embroidery can come to your help.

jeans using this technique. Besides, embroidery is a good way to give second life to your old cloying jeans
and personalize them, make them really unique. The most favorite men’s motives for embroidery on jeans are
gothic style inscriptions, logos of the favorite companies, or stylized abstract patterns in tattoo style.
For women you can choose various flowery patterns, beautiful abstractions or monograms. Children adore
cartoon characters and funny animals which suddenly appear on their jeans as if by magic!
Besides, you can also decorate your made to measure jeans with embroidery using beads. Beads motives are usually
situated on the pockets or on both sides of trouser legs. The most important thing to be taken into account is
comfort; your embroidery should not disturb your movements. It is recommended to wash jeans decorated with beads
in warm water using soap or children’s shampoo. In case your decoration has become really dirty, you can clean
it using a small soft brush. To iron such jeans put the decorated part down on some soft material.
You can also transform your jeans into a designer model using crochet work. Crochet various colorful motives –
flowers and leaves of different forms and sizes, steam them out and decorate your jeans with these original
embellishments! You can also sew down colorful buttons in the middle of each flower. The result will be

In case you don’t like embroidery and crochet work or aren’t good at it, you can try to bring your jeans
back to life using cuts. First of all, you need to decide where your cuts will be situated. Fold your
jeans double and take scissors. Carefully make a cut. Using a polishing brush take out the thread rests
and fray the fabric. To make the effect even better rub the cloth around the cut with a pebble stone or
a piece of medium flint-paper. After carrying out all these procedures you need to put your jeans in a
washing machine and wash them. After your jeans have become dry you can decorate your cut with big pins and metallic rivets.

Tambour stitch, contrasting with the main color of jeans is becoming very fashionable as well. You can
take a bright embroidery thread or cord and make bright stitches along the side seam or put some stitches
around your pockets. The retro-style you create using this simple technique can make your jeans really
personalized! Botchery, prints and patchwork technique are worth mentioning, too. And don’t forget about
zippers, buttons, rivets, as well as golden and silver threads inside denim cloth! All these can become
a rich source of your inspiration!
