About Getwear

Three fashion school graduates and a software engineer/college dropout turned entrepreneur created Getwear.

We believe that people should create their own fashion. Getwear gives the customer control by making clothing design as simple as using the Internet.

Our unique custom fit option understands that no one is the same exact size. By creating customized jeans, we ensure that they will fit everyone just right.

Our team is spread across three continents and four countries working around the clock to make your design dreams come true.

Tatyana Kanzaveli, CEO

Tatyana, a serial startup adviser and conference speaker, oversees global strategy for Getwear and is our public face at high profile events. She’s a social media expert having worked for both Deloitte and PWC. Tatyana has also held executive roles in a number of start-ups. She lives in Los Altos, California, where the main Getwear office is located.

Yaakov Karda, strategist and co-founder.

Yaakov created the original concept of Getwear and oversees all facets of the company: the website, packaging, production, branding, PR and marketing. Yaakov has a Bachelors of Science degree from St. Petersburg State University in Russia and a degree in Fashion Marketing and management from IED in Milan, Italy. He is 28 years old and lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel with his wife Maria.

Maria Karda, art director and co-founder

Maria oversees photo- and video- shooting, embroidery designs and website visualization of all jeans. She’s a fashion designer and a Photoshop magician. She has a Bachelors of Science degree from St. Petersburg State University in Russia and a degree in Fashion Design and Styling from IMB in Milan, Italy. Maria is 27 years old and lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel with her husband Yaakov.

Nikhil Bafna, VP of Production and co-founder

Nikhil oversees the actual production of Getwear jeans. He also heads all research and development efforts and makes sure all pairs of jeans are awesome. Nikhil previously worked as head jean designer and product manager for Kewal Keran Clothing, Ltd., one of the largest clothing producers in India. He holds a Bachelors of Fashion degree from Annamalai University in India, and a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management from IED in Milan, Italy. He is 27 years old and currently lives in Mumbai, India.

Slava (Vyacheslav) Olesik, COO and co-founder

Slava oversees website development, IT structure, search engine optimization efforts and day-to-day business questions. Dropping out of college after a year of studies, Slava started to work as a software engineer and founded Tigersoft, an IT company dedicated to delivering complex IT solutions to corporate clients in Russia. He grew the company to twenty employees before joining Yaakov, Maria and Nikhil as a Getwear co-founder. Slava is 29 years old and lives in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Mario D'Andrea, advisor

Mario is a Getwear advisor. Former Commercial Director of Levi's Italia and a "visionary management advisor" Mario brings his expertise in marketing (maily positioning, branding, retailing) and new approaches to problem solving in a fast changing environment. Mario was a professor of Fashion Marketing in IED where Nikhil and Yaakov studied and overseen Getwear from day one. Mario lives in Milan, Italy.
